Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has opened up on the transfer model that led to Josip Juranovic leaving the club and Giorgos Giakoumakis also being on the road out.
The Croatian joined Bundesliga side Union Berlin and the Greece international has reportedly agreed a deal with American team Atlanta United.
And the Australian explained the situation within the context of the Parkhead side's transfer model.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "As far as I know it [Giakoumakis transfer] has kind of gone off my radar because there is something that is pending there and I am hoping it will be resolved in the coming days.
"I said previously that we had to be aggressive and not reactive in this transfer window. I had an inclination that at least a couple of our players would move on in Josip and Giakoumakis so I thought it was really important we got ahead of the game.
"If we did not lose those players in the window, then I would have been comfortable with that and so would have been the club. There was no pressure to sell.
"There was an opportunity to replace players. With the business we have done and if the Giakoumakis [deal] goes through then we have moved on two players who are 27 and 28 and have brought in four who are under 24 for less money."

Meanwhile, David Dickinson has been announced as the referee for Celtic's game against St Johnstone in Perth.
The whistler has taken charge of two games involving the Hoops this season.
He was involved in a penalty controversy after awarding a spot kick against the Scottish champions in November.
Alexandro Bernabei was judged to have handled the ball at home to Dundee United despite being in mid-air and having his hands behind his back.
Dickinson will be assisted by Callum Spence and Ross MacLeod, with David Munro as the fourth official.
Greg Aitken will be in charge of VAR for the fixture and his assistant will be David Dunne.
