Celtic defender Alistair Johnston has shared his excitement at winning his first trophy as a Hoops player, calling his experience after the League Cup final against Rangers "mental".
The Canadian was making his first appearance in the competition and starred as Ange Postecoglou's side ran out 2-1 winners at Hampden thanks to a double from Kyogo Furuhashi.
And Johnston expressed his gratitude towards the Parkhead supporters after the match.
Speaking to Celtic TV, he said: "You can see the passion and how much it meant to them (the fans). They were there an hour after the final whistle cheering on every little celebration that the lads had.
"It was really cool. You can see the passion as well when we are heading back from the stadium and people are honking their horns and out on the street.
"It is just mental like that and that puts it into perspective how important it is to win trophies at this club."

Meanwhile, former Celtic defender Mark Wilson has praised Hoops midfielder Reo Hatate after his performance during the Hampden showpiece.
Hatate put in a strong performance at the national stadium, including grabbing an assist for Postecoglou's men's second goal of the afternoon.
And Wilson had nothing but good things to say about the 25-year-old, stating that he was "head and shoulders" above everyone else on the pitch.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: " (Reo) Hatate was incredible yesterday with his movement and the running off the ball that he usually does.
"It was his quality on the ball that set him apart yesterday and I thought he was head and shoulders above the rest.
"He had an involvement in two goals. That was the difference between Celtic and Rangers' midfield.
"Rangers had a lot of sideways passes whereas Celtic with Hatate, (Aaron) Mooy and (Callum) McGregor ran the show and that was where the game was won for me."
