Everything Ange Postecoglou had to say to Sky Sports in the immediate aftermath of Celtic's 5-1 SPFL Premiership win against St Mirren in Paisley...
Ange, can we get your assessment on today's game?
Yeah, look a good little challenge for us. Obviously it's a difficult place to come to and we had to be really disciplined today – even after they went a man down - just to make sure we played our football, I thought it was fantastic input by the people that came on as well, which really put the pressure on and, yeah, a good win.
You did say before the game that players would come on and make an impact or you might need them was that key? Does that show again the strength of the squad?
Yeah, but again the strength of the squad’s only measured by the impact the players make. You can have a really strong squad but if players aren’t making an impact or are not in the right kind of mindset, whether they're not starting or they are starting, then having a good squad doesn't really matter. But our guys are really on it in terms of making sure that whenever they play, they're ready to play - and not just play but make an impact on the game. Again, (it was) a massive contribution.

Did you have to be patient once St Mirren went down to 10 men coming out for the second half?
It was one of those games. It doesn't really change their approach too much. They’re still going to sit deep, they’re still going to have bodies in the box and you can get a little bit anxious about it but I thought we stayed calm and looked for the best options. I thought Liel [Abada] made a big difference when he came on and we ended up scoring five goals but probably could've got a couple more.
There's a big debate about that first penalty, saying it might be a bit harsh on Greg Taylor, what was your thoughts?
You’d have to ask Greg, mate, if it’s harsh on him. But is it harsh on us? VAR doesn't miss anything and didn't miss anything today.
How pleasing was it that it was emphatic in the end?
Yeah, I still thought they didn't really create much. They got a couple of balls in the box and I thought we created a couple of really good opportunities. Their keeper made a couple of good saves, couple of other times we could’ve hit the target but when you go a goal down, particularly from a penalty decision, you’ve just got to maintain your composure. I thought we did that. Kyogo [Furuhashi] - his goals get the headlines but it’s his ability to press opposition and keep them on notice all the time. He gets a player sent off because he’s just constantly not giving him a moment’s peace. We’ve got to just keep relying on those things that are the cornerstone of our football – not just what we do when we have the ball but what we do when we don’t.
