Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has addressed Daizen Maeda's omission from the Scottish Cup squad to face Hearts.
The winger has been a regular feature for the Premiership champions this term but was absent when the official teamlines were released ahead of the cup match in Edinburgh.
Maeda was forced off injured against the same opposition on Wednesday evening with Postecoglou rating his chances of making the cup tie 50-50.
Hoops boss Postecoglou confirmed in the build-up to kick-off at Tynecastle that Maeda had not sufficiently recovered enough to make the squad.
He told BBC Sportsound: "Only Daizen really [is the only enforced change]. He obviously got a knock the other night and tried hard to get back but it was just too close of a turn around."
Postecoglou made five changes to his starting XI in total for the tie.
In came right-back Alistair Johnston, left-back Greg Taylor and central midfielder Reo Hatate as well as wingers Jota and Sead Haksabanovic while out went Anthony Ralston, Alexandro Bernabei, Matt O'Riley, Liel Abada and Maeda.
The match marked the first time Haksabanovic had started a competitive game since November.
