Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou oversaw a 15th successive home league win of the season to restore his side's nine-point lead at the Premiership summit.
Hibs were the unwilling victims in the latest victory but despite going down to 10 men when Elie Youan was sent off for a second bookable offence, the Leith side did take the lead through Josh Campbell's penalty.
Celtic levelled when Jota scored a penalty of his own before Oh Hyeon-gyu's powerful header ensured the turnaround. Sead Haksabanovic had time to add the gloss with a long-range pearler before the end.
Postecoglou was full of praise for the manner in which his side continued to look for gaps in the Hibs rearguard despite some staunch resistance.

He also alluded to some 'non-football factors' that could have made it difficult for his men - including a member of the Hibs bench interrupting a restart by throwing a second ball on the pitch and lengthy VAR checks that led to a 100-plus-minute match.
When asked by BBC Sportsound post-match if the various interruptions in play were problematic for him, Postecoglou replied: "It’s not a problem – well it is a problem, I guess, because you just want the game to be played.
"It’s fair to say there was a fair bit going on both on and off the field. Even the bench space was fairly entertaining at times.
"I’ve said to the lads, for us, we focus on the football. Leave the other stuff, it doesn’t really do us any favours. It’s not something we buy into in terms of trying to buy into those kinds of things. We’ve just got to focus on our football and the second half I thought we did that."
