Former Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis netted his fourth goal for new club Atlanta United in sensational fashion.

The Greece international, who joined the MLS side from the Hoops earlier this year, scored a stunning header from a corner in a 2-2 draw with Toronto FC.

His finish put the visitors 1-0 up before they were pegged back twice as the game ended all score.

The 28-year-old now has four goals in six appearances for the American side.

He's now scored against Toronto, New York City, New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers in a stunning start to his career in the States, after his debut was initially held up by red tape when his work visa was delayed.

Meanwhile, ex-Celtic boss Tony Mowbray has praised former Hoops winger Patrick Roberts, calling him "amazing".

The two men are currently working together at English Championship side Sunderland as they look to win promotion to the Premier League.

Mowbray has hailed the Englishman for the dynamic he has developed with Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo, who was previously on Rangers' books.

The Stadium of Light side are currently in ninth place and two points off the playoffs.

And the 59-year-old has nothing but good things to say about the forward.

He said: "That is why I play Patrick Roberts around him (Diallo). He is amazing with the ball and doesn’t give it away.

"He feels he can do what he wants with the ball but if he lends it to him he might not get it back.

"It is magic watching them both."
