Everything Ange Postecoglou had to say in his post-match interview with Sky Sports after Celtic's victory over Hearts at Tynecastle...

Thoughts on today?

It feels like it has been a long year and this group of players and the staff have been outstanding. They have been maintaining an almost impossible standard week in and week out and it is a credit to every one of them. I am super proud.

Tell us about the hard work involved this season?

It is a daily thing. Like I said, we won it last year and there is always a danger that guys might get ahead of themselves and get complacent but from the first moment we got back at pre-season, they had a real target to be better and they have done that every day. It has just been relentless and I have had the easy bit of watching these guys maintain a ridiculous standard of football and their fantastic commitment to this football club.

How important is the mentality on and off the field?

Absolutely, it goes hand in hand and you can't have one without the other. As I said with last year's success, we put it to bed straight away and really raised our standards this year. The year we have had has been remarkable from the football we played and the consistency to the goals we scored and the fact that the boys have risen to challenge and tried to be successful on all fronts. As I said, it is a credit to them.

Do you like that the team is still developing?

We had a moment at the end of my first game when we had a mountain to climb but I really had a belief that I could do something here in terms of building a team that means something to the club and the fans. It is a credit to everyone that they have jumped on board and got the job done.

Can I mention the treble to you?

Yeah, we have an opportunity to make this season special. We have worked hard to get to this point and it is great to win the trophies but you know what we want to win a third. I want to for these players and this football club and this staff because it is a reflection of the team I think we have been this year.

Are you able to enjoy it?

Absolutely. Plenty of people in my circle make sacrifices, my family and my kids... I have the easy bit as I am doing what I love. They are the ones who come and support and not just my family but also my friends. The whole football club has embraced me from day one and for that, I take pride that I have been able to give something back.

I can see you are getting emotional

It is not easy and a big responsibility. Any manager knows the responsibility you bare particularly with this football club. It is a hell of a point to get to where we are and it has been a massive effort from everyone. You get emotional because you understand what has gone into it.
