Following manager Ange Postecoglou’s departure from Celtic Park there has been a whirlwind of speculation as to who will replace him.
After the Australian manager had two successful, trophy-filled campaigns, it is of great importance that Celtic get this next managerial appointment on the money.
Former manager Brendan Rodgers is currently the betting favourite, but a potential return of the Northern Irishman would most definitely be met with some hostility from the Celtic support.

Spanish coach Andoni Iraola was linked with the vacant Celtic managerial post earlier today, and these links have gathered steam as a second Spanish media outlet, Mundo Deportivo, has linked the Spaniard with the Celtic job.
The former Rayo Vallecano manager left the club upon the expiry of his contract after a successful spell at the club. This success saw Iraola attract many different suitors, with the 40-year-old reportedly on the Celtic shortlist along with a whole host of different names.
This comes after another Spanish outlet, Estadio Deportivo, linked Iraola with the Celtic managerial position.
Celtic aren’t the only club interested however, with Olympiacos, Nottingham Forest and Marseille potentially seeking out his services.
Iraola saw great success with Vallecano, initially taking the reins at the club whilst they were in the Segunda Division, Spain’s second tier.
From there, he saw them get promoted back to the Spanish top-flight through the promotion play-offs. He also guided them to the Copa Del Rey semi-final, the club’s first in 40 years.

These promising signs saw him approached by Leeds United this past February, with the Whites clearly seeing Iraola as the man to guide them to Premier League safety.
Vallecano wouldn’t allow their manager to leave at such a crucial point in their season and the move fell through.
Iraola isn’t the only new name being linked with the Celtic job, as earlier today in Italian media publication Il Seculo XIX, Francesco Farioli, currently of Turkish Super League club Antalyaspor, was namechecked as a potential choice.
The 34-year-old is held in high regard in his homeland of Italy and has also been linked with the Sampdoria job, with La Samp recently being relegated from Serie A.
