Reo Hatate won't play for Celtic again until after Christmas.
The midfielder has been ruled out of action after the hamstring injury he suffered against Atletico Madrid.
Hatate had started the Champions League match but was forced off just minutes in as he struggled with the knock.
Now, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Hatate has suffered a significant injury and could face a wait into the New Year to return to action.

The Celtic boss said: "We're not 100 percent on the exact timings of that, but he's certainly going to be out until after Christmas we think so that's a shame. I think it's a disappointment for him. He's had a bit of a broken start to this season and obviously this here will take him over the halfway point of the league.
"So it's very frustrating for him, especially someone who really commits himself to the game and his professionalism and everything he tries to do right.
"He's in a great place for that support from the coaches, manager and the medical team. The whole staff here will support him like we do all the players and hopefully we can get him back soon rather than later."
