Chris Sutton delivered a brutal dig at Kris Boyd following Celtic's victory over Rangers in today's derby showdown.
The Scottish champions ran out 2-1 winners with Callum McGregor and Kyogo Furuhashi grabbing goals at a packed-out Parkhead.
It was mixed emotions amongst the Sky Sports pundit team and Sutton could not resist having a pop at Boyd at the full-time whistle.
He said: "Can Kris Boyd keep writing Kyogo off please? Keep writing him off!"
Boyd then responded: "Who wrote him off mate? It is a game of opinions.
"You have a lot of opinions on whether referees give penalties to some teams and not others. Enjoy the cold. See you soon."
Sutton was referencing Boyd's comments during the Edinburgh derby in midweek when he stated that Lawrence Shankland is the best finisher in Scotland.
On Shankland's winner, Boyd said: "I have spoken about Kyogo in this league in terms of the different types of strikers.
"Kyogo couldn't finish that. His finishing is unbelievable and for me, he is the best in the league."
