Liel Abada has completed his Celtic transfer exit.

The winger, 22, has officially joined MLS side Charlotte FC in a deal worth in the region of £10m.

Charlotte FC had teased the arrival of Abada in a social media "special delivery" video but have now confirmed the arrival of the Israel international.

Abada was allowed to leave Celtic - just months after signing a lengthy contract extension - having had off-the-pitch struggles in Glasgow.

The winger hadn't featured for Celtic since a substitute appearance against Kilmarnock on February 7. He had received an ovation on his return from injury against Rangers on December 30 but was not in the right frame of mind to play for the club before his exit.

Brendan Rodgers had conceded a transfer or loan exit could be agreed with Abada struggling mentally amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
