Barry Ferguson is baffled at the timescale surrounding Brendan Rodgers' pending SFA hearing.
The Celtic boss, 51, didn't hold back when giving his thoughts on the performance of match referee Don Robertson and VAR man John Beaton following their 2-0 defeat against Hearts last weekend.
Now Rodgers could face disciplinary action in the form of a two-match touchline ban, which would even result in the Northern-Irish coach missing the April 7 Old Firm derby with Rangers.
He will go head-to-head with the governing body on Thursday, March 28 - almost a month after the incident took place. And ex-Gers captain Ferguson feels it's strange why the outcome won't be concluded sooner.

He told Go Radio: "He is probably not wanting to talk about it again in case he gets another game added on to it.
"It is strange why it takes so long to go up against the panel. You would think it maybe wouldn't be this week but next week.
"I don't get why it takes so long to get brought up and see how long he will get in terms of games. You obviously know what is coming up and the game he could miss if he gets that ban."
