Grateful Matt O'Riley has shared a social media message with supporters as speculation ramps up over a possible Celtic transfer exit.

The key Parkhead midfielder is reportedly in talks with two top-six Premier League clubs over a summer transfer exit.

O'Riley - who scooped the Celtic player of the year gong on Sunday - has been a central figure under Brendan Rodgers in the Scottish Premiership this season with Atletico Madrid interest booted out in January.

However, speculation last night emerged over a summer transfer move down south with reports in Denmark suggesting clubs had approached O'Riley to gauge interest levels.

It's claimed Atletico remain keen on the player with Inter Milan also credited with an active interest in a summer deal.

Last night - after reports gathered traction online - O'Riley posted a message on social media celebrating his award night success and gratefulness over his time at Celtic to date.

Sharing an awards night snap, O'Riley posted: "Thank you to both my teammates & the fans 💚

"Grateful to be a part of this family 🍀"

O'Riley previously admitted he found it tough dealing with transfer speculation while at Celtic - in the aftermath of Atletico's approach.

However, last month he insisted he is in a better place to mentally deal with outside noise should it happen again.

"It was tough at first," he said of dealing with speculation over his future. "It was something new. I am sure if something like that happened in the future I would be able to manage it better.

"I don't think I managed it badly it is just that something like that has never happened to me before.

"It is naturally there at the back of your mind and the first few games were tough.

"I addressed it off the pitch with my friend who I speak with and I have got back on track."
