Neil Lennon expects Celtic to continue their dominance of Scottish football after they were crowned Premiership champions for a third year running

A Matt O'Riley double, plus strikes from Daizen Maeda, Adam Idah and James Forrest ensured the Hoops retained their league crown with one match remaining.

O'Riley's showing just capped off what has been a remarkable individual campaign for the Hoops. Whilst Forrest displayed why Brendan Rodgers has put his trust back in the winger during the title run-in.

It hasn't been all rosey at Celtic this season, with Rangers breathing down their necks.

Yet former boss, Lennon, reckons Rodgers has to take a lot of credit for the latest triumph as he suggested his old club will go on to pip their city rivals to more trophies.

“That is the 12th title in 13 seasons,” Lennon told Sky Sports.

"What I'm looking at is more domination to come. They are going to have Champions League next year. They are going to have a kitty where they can invest whatever Brendan wants to invest in the squad.

"But just on tonight, when they really needed it most, the players pulled it out of the bag for Brendan.

"They came under a bit of scrutiny, he came under a bit of scrutiny and that happens sometimes.

"Not every team is perfect, not every season is perfect but they've rolled with the punches and they've come out the other side.

"You can see what it means to the supporters, and if you look at Callum McGregor, you look at Jamsey Forrest, Greg Taylor, the guys who have won multiple titles, multiple trophies, the next one is the most important one, and the next one is the most enjoyable one."
