Celtic full-back Greg Taylor has won eight trophies since signing in 2019, working with three different managers in that time.

His latest boss is, of course, Brendan Rodgers, and having just clinched his eighth piece of silverware in green and white – his fourth Scottish Premiership league title – the 26-year-old has compared last year's team to this year's in a positive light.

Previous Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou won five out of six trophies last year, and while Brendan Rodgers won seven out of seven during his first stretch as manager, last night's league championship win marks his first since returning to Paradise last summer.

"We can never take it for granted that it really is a club like no other," Taylor told Sky Sports during the title party at Celtic Park after Wednesday night's game. "A Wednesday night, most of these guys have probably got work in the morning, and they're out here in their thousands so it's an unbelievable feeling.

"The manager has been brilliant. Off of a team that had won real success, but I think it's quite a different team. We lost big players and we've had our bumps along the road, but the manager is a winner and he's shown it again."

Celtic clinched their third consecutive league title in style with a 5-0 drubbing of Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, with Adam Idah, Daizen Maeda, James Forrest and a Matt O'Riley double making the difference on the night.

Taylor added: "We'd certainly spoken about it, certainly since the derby at the weekend, that we wanted to sprint over the finish line and really go out in style and we did that by winning the league.

"I don't know if [this one] is sweeter, but [winning the league] is the best feeling in the world. When you win trophies, you should never take it for granted because a lot of players go through their whole careers and don't get a chance to win anything.

"This one isn't much sweeter, but it's still an unbelievable feeling."
