Celtic striker Kyogo has missed out on a call up for Japan’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Myanmar and Syria.
The 29-year-old has 19 goals in all competitions this season and registered a further five assists.
Kyogo has previously struggled to break into the squad and failed to make the team for the Asian Cup earlier this year.
Japan manager Hajime Moriyasu has included Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate in his squad.

Maeda returned from injury earlier than expected after a hamstring problem he picked up against Rangers in April.
Hatate, who has missed large periods of the season on the sidelines, has started the last nine matches for the Parkhead club.
All three players are expected to be involved on Saturday against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.
Japan travel to Myanmar on Thursday 6 June before taking on Syria on Tuesday 11 June.
