The Celtic USA Tour 2024 is on its final stretch with Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic players having so far been undefeated across the Atlantic.
That started with a 4-0 win over DC United at the 20,000-seater Audi Field stadium on Saturday night/the early hours of Sunday morning UK time, and was followed by a seven-goal thriller against English Premier League winners Manchester City as the Hoops triumphed 4-3.
Now, Celtic play Chelsea on Saturday in preparation for the new Scottish Premiership season starting next month.

Celtic have already played MLS side D.C. United, and will now take on English Premier League outfits Manchester City and Chelsea.

Date: Sunday, July 21 (Saturday, July 20 local time)
Kick-off time: 12.30am UK (7.30pm local time)
Stadium: Audi Field (20,000 capacity)
Celtic's tour of the United States kicked off with a 4-0 win over MLS team D.C. United on Sunday, June 21, at 12:30am UK time. Because of the five-hour time difference between the U.S. and Scotland, the local kick-off time was 7:30pm on Saturday, June 20. Goals came from Matt O'Riley (x2), James Forrest and Mikey Johnstone.
The match was held at D.C. United's home ground, Audi Field, a 20,000-seater stadium shared by D.C. United, D.C. Power FC, Washington Spirit, and the American football team DC Defenders.
Since Major League Soccer was founded in 1996, D.C. United have won 13 trophies, including the MLS itself four times, in 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004.
With the current MLS season still ongoing (running from February 21 to October 19 this year, with playoffs following thereafter), D.C. have endured a season of ups and downs, placing them, at the time of writing, in the bottom half of the 15-team Eastern Conference table.
Celtic 4 - 3 Manchester City
Date: Wednesday, July 24 (Tuesday, July 23 local time)
Kick-off time: 12.30am (7.30pm local time)
Stadium: Kenan Stadium (50,500 capacity)
Celtic's second match on their American tour was against English Premier League champions, Manchester City, and was held at the University of North Carolina's Kenan Stadium, a college football arena in the state's Chapel Hill area with a capacity of 50,500.
Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Luis Palma and a double from Nicolas Kuhn saw the Parkhead side triumph 4-3 on the night.
The last time Celtic played Manchester City was during the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League group-stages, when Brendan Rodgers' side held Pep Guardiola and his men to a point at home and away.
Patrick Roberts struck at the Etihad in a 1-1 draw, whereas a Moussa Dembele double and a Raheem Sterling OG (forced by Kieran Tierney) filled out the scoresheet at Celtic Park.
Proceeds from this match went to to the UNC Children's Hospital.
Celtic vs Chelsea
Date: Saturday, July 27
Kick-off time: 9pm UK time (4pm local time)
Stadium: Notre Dame Stadium (77,622 capacity)
Celtic's third and final match on their USA Tour 2024 is against Chelsea. The game will be played at the Notre Dame Stadium, a 77,622-seater stadium that's home to the Notre Dame University Fighting Irish American football team.
With 18 wins, 9 draws and 11 losses over the course of the 2023/24 English Premier League trail, the consistency of the Stamford Bridge club was at times questioned, however five wins in their final five games saw them leapfrog a number of teams to finish in sixth place.
This saw the London outfit finish just three points behind Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur and five points behind Unai Emery's Aston Villa, however manager Mauricio Pochettino was nevertheless dismissed following the conclusion of the season.
Former Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca has replaced the outgoing Pochettino, with the Italian having led Leicester out of the English Championship and back into the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers
In conversation with the official Celtic website, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers spoke in praise of the opportunity the club's USA Tour 2024 presents for he and his players.
The Irishman said: "We are so fortunate to have such a strong support worldwide and particularly right across the U.S.
"Our visit will allow our fans a great opportunity to see the team in action and we are really look forward to seeing them."
Cameron Carter-Vickers
Celtic centre-back and American internationalist, Cameron Carter-Vickers echoed the sentiment of his manager.
He told the Celtic website: "Everyone at Celtic is really looking forward to our summer visit to the U.S. and of course myself as a U.S. national player, I can't wait. "We have some great matches lined up at brilliant venues and of course our match with Manchester City will be bringing together two of the biggest names in the game.
"We are fortunate at Celtic to have such a global reach and we hope as many supporters as possible can attend the match in North Carolina – and of course we will be doing our very best to put on a great show for the fans."
Callum McGregor
Celtic captain, Callum McGregor also told the Celtic website: "We are delighted to be visiting Washington to meet DC United and we are sure the match will be another great sporting occasion.
"Celtic has enjoyed a number of great visits to the United States previously to play both European and MLS teams and I am sure this summer we will enjoy another successful visit.
"We are really grateful to have such a strong fanbase in the States and it is great that these matches will give our fans a chance to see us in action again."
