Celtic have already launched next season's home kit, but remain as yet tight-lipped about the club's incoming away and third offerings for the 2024/25 campaign – despite the fact the next away kit appears to have been leaked on prolific leak site Footy Headlines.
The lack of concrete information has, rather expectedly, led the internet to respond with an array of concepts, theories, suggestions and images of opportunist foreign market rip-offs – the creators of which have hastily manufactured the roughest of designs based on the latest online rumours.
Which for me is all part of the fun. These inventive Celtic third kit concepts caught my eye last month as some of the nicest fan-made efforts I've seen in some time, but the latest to raise an eyebrow made me think back to that Picasso-inspired April Fool's joke last year that sat somewhere between vibrant psychedelic and washed-out pyjamas.
We all remember that one, don't we?
Well here's a similarly artistic attempt hosted on FIFAKitCreator.com that would surely yield similar cult status if it were ever to be made official – this one perhaps echoing the likes of Salvador Dali or M.C. Escher more than Pablo, but I'm far from an expert in this space.
Another trippy design similar in style to the official Celtic Adidas pre-match top that got people talking recently, I think something like this would be great alongside the hoops and, assuming Footy Headlines are on the money, the proposed green-and-yellow away kit that's on its way.
Speaking to the proposed away kit leak, would-be buyers seem split on whether it's a hit or miss, with many of the comments unsuitable for print here.
With a more retro feel, these three concept kits would surely also fly off the shelves – the first two more outlandish in style, with the third being how the iconic bumblebee kit would look like against Adidas' 2024/25 template.
I want them all, truth be told.
