Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon has accused Romanian refs of acting 'rudely' to him after he continued his disappointing start to his new job at Rapid Bucharest.

The former Celtic boss suffered his first defeat as manager in a 1-0 loss to Petrolul and has yet to secure a victory after his first three league games.

And Lennon was unhappy at the standard of officials in his new home, after Rapid star Luka Gojkovic was sent off.

He said: "The referee didn't have a good night. There were three corners in the second half he somehow missed and when you go to talk to them, you can't.

"The officials were all very rude to me.

"And the sending off of Luka was a ridiculous decision.

"It's very frustrating, of course, because we had to score at least two or three goals. If you don't take chances, then you will have a hard life."
