Celtic have reached an agreement with Sheffield United to sign American centre-back Auston Trusty.

The talented defender has successfully negotiated personal terms and is poised to sign a five-year contract with the Scottish champions.

Trusty, known for his solid defensive skills and versatility on the field, having also filled in at left-back, is expected to bolster Celtic’s backline as they aim for continued success in both domestic and European competitions.
