Tomoki Iwata is reportedly set to leave Celtic on transfer deadline day.
The Japanese midfielder is wanted by Birmingham City in a late swoop to bolster their midfield options.
Iwata, 27, has not made a competitive appearance for Celtic this season against Kilmarnock and Hibernian.
He was named on the bench for the opening two Scottish Premiership matches but missed out entirely on the matchday squads against Hibs- in the Premier Sports Cup - and St Mirren.
It's reported that Iwata is considering his options as he seeks first-team football having seen his minutes limited under Brendan Rodgers this term.
The Scottish Sun reports Birmingham boss Chris Davies is interested in a deal to bring Iwata to St Andrew's.

Should Iwata seal a move to Birmingham he will see a host of familiar faces as team-mates.
Former Hearts defender Alex Cochrane joined the League One club this summer with winger Scott Wright also sealing a move down south from Rangers.
Rangers centre-back Ben Davies is also at the club having joined on loan from Ibrox earlier this month.
