Chris Sutton has branded Celtic 'naive' after for approaching their Champions Legue clash with Dortmund in an open fashion.
The Hoops were taken apart 7-1 on a night to forget in Europe's elite competition and the Germans dominated from the start despite Celtic showing an appetite to get forward.
And Sutton called for Brendan Rodgers to adopt a more 'streetwise' strategy in the remaining six games of the competition.
He said on social media platform X: "Celtic wanted to go toe to toe... good to be positive but there comes a time when you have to be a bit streetwise and understand levels .
Celtic wanted to go toe to toe… good to be positive but there comes a time when you have to be a bit streetwise and understand levels . Throwing lots of bodies forward when you’re 7-1 down seemed a bit naive… a bit like Madrid… way too open and ruthlessly exploited…
