Celtic have announced a 'retro-inspired fit' that leans into Adidas' recent foray into old school designs among Europe's top clubs – and have called upon none other than former player Mikael Lustig to model the new range.
Unlike the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid – who've all launched similar throwback jerseys this season – it seems unlikely Celtic will actually wear this one on the pitch, but it is indeed real, having been leaked by Footy Headlines earlier this year.
At £85, the long-sleeved green and gold shirt isn't cheap – nor is the coinciding, similar colour palette collection – but, for better or worse, that's around the going rate for these sorts of drops in 2024.
Here's that:
"The new adidas Originals x Celtic FC collection is now released, featuring bold, nostalgic pieces perfect for those who want to stand out on a match day," reads the blurb on the official Celtic website.
"Modelled by none other than Celtic icon Mikael Lustig himself, the range features retro-inspired fits and striking 3-Stripe designs, with tops, hoodies and tracksuits to choose from."
