Prolific football leaks site Footy Headlines recently all but confirmed Celtic are set to extend their partnership with German sports manufacturer Adidas.

Having signed a bumper five-year deal back in 2020 – said to be the most lucrative kit deal in Scottish football history at the time – the pair's current agreement is set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Both sides are yet to officially confirm their status beyond this season, however Footy Headlines believes Celtic are set to not only extend with Adidas, but also move from a B-tier Premium team under the brand's umbrella to an A-tier outfit.

At present, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid all share A-tier status, with Celtic now seemingly set to join them alongside Liverpool, Newcastle and Roma.

To this end, Footy Headlines says: "This means Celtic will receive authentic kits (Heat.Dry technology) and the Trefoil logo on their third shirt."

With the help of former player-meets-model Mikael Lustig, Celtic released a Trefoil logo-emblazoned shirt last week, but this step up in Adidas' rankings will see them release a Trefoil third kit that'll be worn on match days.
