It may not have been the most glamorous of Celtic performances against Dundee in midweek, but the hosts' 2-0 win ensured the hosts retained their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

A second half strike from Alistair Johnston on the hour mark was complemented by an Arne Engels penalty seven minutes later in a match where Celtic might have been more ruthless in front of goal.

Nevertheless, the Canadian full-back's display won him the Man of the Match award at Celtic Park, after which he joked about putting his size 11 feet to good use by lunging at full-stretch to poke him a deflected cross from the right flank.

At pitch-level, Celtic TV's recurring Unique Angle series is invariably one of the best ways to watch Celtic's goals, and this one is no different – illustrating the cross-pitch move that saw Johnston slip the ball to Yang before netting his second in as many games.

After the match, Johnston told Celtic TV: "Finally the size 11 feet have come to help me for once. They don't help with the stepovers, but they did help me get a big toe on it!

"I think we'll look back on the stats, in the first half things just didn't break our way, that's going to happen in matches.

"But with our style of play, it's just so strong. When we play the way the gaffer wants us to, it can be exhausting.

"It was important that whatever they did, whatever they threw at us, we got the job done and got the three points."
