While an official announcement is yet to surface, internet rumblings suggest Adidas and Celtic are set to extend their current partnership into next season and beyond.
Now in the final stretch of their current five-year contract – signed in 2020 and said to be Scottish football's most lucrative sponsorship deal of all time – the latest rumours suggest the German brand are set to roll out a tartan-inspired home kit, with the iconic bumblebee likewise on the cusp of receiving a modern reimagining.
While distinctly scant on the details, prolific leak website Footy Headlines believes the Celtic third kit for the 2025/26 campaign will feature something out of the ordinary in design terms.
"A source close to Footy Headlines has revealed that the new Celtic Football Club 2025-2026 third uniform will feature a never-before-seen look," Footy Headlines reported.
Footy Headlines then pointed to the pink European Cup Final 1967 ticket colour-inspired New Balance third kit of 2017/18 as Celtic adopted unorthodox kit designs.
It added: "We hope to be able to reveal the first official colour and design info about the Adidas Celtic FC 2025-2026 third shirt soon."
