Former Celtic winger Oliver Burke ended his 551-day goal drought in spectacular fashion at the weekend, netting an 89th-minute winner in the Bundesliga.

The 27-year-old's late heroics sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory for SV Werder Bremen over Holstein Kiel at the Weserstadion as Bremen snatched their first home win of the season.

Burke joined Celtic on loan from West Brom in January 2019, making 14 appearances and scoring four goals during the Hoops' 'treble treble' winning season.

Here is the thrilling moment Burke - who came off the bench in the 78th minute - headed in Keke Topp's cross to secure all three points for Ole Werner's side.

Bremen shared Burke's goal on social media, captioning the clip: "This is your pilot speaking... we are reading for take off!" The ecstatic Bundesliga side also dubbed the forward "our flying Scotsman".

The Kirkcaldy-born Scottish internationalist is the fiancé of reality TV star Megan McKenna, with whom he has recently welcomed a baby boy.
