After opening up a three points gap over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend, attention for Celtic turns back to European matters this midweek. 

Club Brugge are their next Champions League opponents, with an automatic spot in the knockout rounds very much a possibility. 

Brendan Rodgers' side has made a flying start to their UCL campaign with seven points from four games.

They currently occupy a play-off position but will have their sights firmly set on a guaranteed knockout slot in the top eight of the new-look league table.
