Celtic Park is being tipped as the next destination for Liverpool goalkeeper Caiomhin Kelleher following his stellar display against Real Madrid in the Champions League last night.
With his side 1-0 up, the Irish shot stopper pulled off a brilliant save to thwart Kylian Mbappe from the penalty spot and prevent the Spanish champions from snatching an equaliser. Arne Slot’s side went on to end a 15-year wait for a victory over the Champions League holders thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo.
With Kelleher likely to demand a consistent starting spot after impressing in the injured Alisson’s absence, the odds of the 26-year-old joining Brendan Rodgers' side have narrowed from 11/2 to 5/1 since last night, according to TG Casino.

Lee Astley, spokesperson for TG Casino, said: “Caoimhin Kelleher’s superb penalty save against Real Madrid underscores his claim to be a first-choice goalkeeper and we make it increasingly likely that the Irishman will leave Liverpool in January.
“With Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic reportedly interested in his services, their odds to snap up Kelleher in the January transfer window have dropped since last night, now trading at 5/1 after being 11/2 before the game.”
Wolves are the second most likely destination at 6/1 with Leeds United completing the top three at 7/1.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot has made it clear that "the moment Alisson will be fit he will be our first goalkeeper" as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
Kelleher has been standing in for the Brazilian since October and has yet to concede in three Champions League games this season, saving all 13 shots on target he has faced.
