In the wake of Saturday's 5-0 win over Ross County, Celtic now face Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday (December 4), before hosting Hibs on Saturday (December 7).
After that, the Parkhead side will travel to Croatia to take on Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League.
With five games played so far, the Scottish champions sit on eight points, while Zagreb have seven.
A win for Celtic, then, would raise their tally to 11, all but securing their place in the new-look competition's play-off round. 10 is said to be the magic number in reaching this stage, therefore a win for Zagreb should put them in a similar position.
That said, reports from Croatian media emphasize that Dinamo must secure a win against Celtic to bolster their chances of progressing. Analysis offered by Croatian publication Sportske reckons that even with 10 points, advancement isn't guaranteed.
Sportske said (translated via Google): "Eight [points], therefore, will be insufficient, nine is quite certain as well, while in the starting projections we pointed out a result of ten points as a certainty for the Top 24.
"Dinamo is at seven, which means that in the next round against Celtic in Zagreb on December 10, with a win, they will go to 10. Everything the Croatian champion would then do in January against Arsenal in London and Milan at Maksimir would be a bonus."

Sportske added: "Dinamo, Real Madrid, PSG, Stuttgart and Feyenoord remain in the game for four places. For Zagreb to pass with ten points, due to their weak goal difference, one of the remaining four should fail. Maybe that [9-2 defeat] from Munich will be fatal for the Blues, but a lot will unravel in the 6th round.
"Of course, who knows what will happen in the last three rounds, but it is possible that even 10 points will not be enough for the Top 24. Clearly, from Dinamo's point of view, this story is from the 'what if' column.
"In order to even hope for passage in Maksimir, they must defeat Celtic in the next match. It is a must win. [Fighting] with Arsenal or Milan is better to avoid… "
After Dinamo Zagreb, Celtic's two remaining Champions League fixtures are Young Boys at Parkhead on January 22, and Aston Villa at Villa Park on January 29.
