Joe Hart: The undisputed Celtic number one was given the nod over summer signing Benjamin Siegrist and was even made captain for the night. He wasn't tested once in the opening 45 minutes and spent the time shouting and encouraging his team-mates. 7

Osaze Urhoghide: The centre-back was pitched straight into the starting side after enjoying a loan spell with Belgian outfit Oostende. He possesses a lot of raw pace and power and looks cumbersome at times and he does concede some unnecessary fouls. 7

Christopher Jullien: The French defender received some invaluable and much-needed game time for Celtic. Despite seeing a summer move to German side Schalke 04 break down over personal terms the £7million man grabbed Celtic's fifth goal when he advanced forward and released Johnston before heading home after Kenny's header came back off the post. He was appointed skipper at the break when Joe Hart vacated the field. 7

Alexandro Bernabei: All eyes were on the £3.75m left-back who was handed his debut in a Celtic jersey as he became the first Argentine to represent the club. He loved to bomb forward and it was his cross that led to Kenny's second goal and Celtic's fourth and was denied a goal of his own by a fine save from the SC Wiener Viktoria goalkeeper. He certainly looked comfortable in everything that he did and enjoyed his outing. 7

Bosun Lawal: The Celtic B team regular starter in the Lowland League has been tipped for big things after joining Celtic from Watford’s academy a year ago. He cut a physical and imposing figure and looked very elegant on the ball and was solid in the air. He never looked troubled or flustered and was composed and measured in everything he did. He could well be ready for the next step in his development. 8

James McCarthy: The Republic of Ireland midfielder has looked leaner since he reported back for pre-season training. He kept possession extremely well all evening and grew in confidence as the game wore on. He displayed a decent range of crisp and fast passing too and was neat and tidy at all times. 7

Yosuke Ideguchi: The Japanese midfielder, unfortunately, got injured early on in that Scottish Cup tie against Alloa and he will be determined to show exactly what he can do this term. He got in behind on a number of occasions and showed real willingness to break the defensive lines and alongside Hatate put in an impressive display. He looks every inch like a new signing. 8

Reo Hatate: Hatate hit the ground running as a Celtic player last season but looked jaded and tired by the end of the campaign and he will have welcomed the summer break for a chance to refresh and recharge the batteries. He ran the show in the opening 45 minutes and passed the second into the net after Forrest's cross in 13 minutes. The 24-year-old looked head and shoulders above the rest on and off the ball. He was an effective outlet going forward and did not neglect his defensive duties either. 8

James Forrest: The evergreen winger was embarking on his 14th consecutive season in the Hoops and he darted in and out of proceedings and screwed an effort wide of the target before the interval before being teed up by Johnston for the sixth after some cracking one-touch football. 6

Mikey Johnston: You get the feeling that this is the last-chance saloon in terms of Mikey Johnston's Celtic career and the wide man was full of tricks and flicks as he showcased his undoubted skills and ability. He laid the ball on a plate for Kenny to tap home the opener at the back post inside 10 minutes and also set up Jullien and Forrest for their goals. He even scored with an angled effort of his own after 17 minutes for good measure. 8

Johnny Kenny: A rare chance for the teenage Irish attacker to shine. He started very brightly and got rewarded with a simple close-range finish following good work by Johnston and then steered Bernabei's cross after a mistake by a defender. He slammed a header against the post when he ought to have scored his hat-trick but Jullien profited from the rebound. Replaced by Ajeti at the interval. 7

Substitutes

Benjamin Siegrist: The former Dundee United goalkeeper was handed his first outing as he replaced Hart at the break and was beaten by a late effort that cleared the post as the clean sheet was preserved but only just. 6

Albian Ajeti: Celtic's forgotten man came on for the impressive Kenny for the second half and spurned a great opportunity by dragging a shot wide of the target when he ought to have scored and cracked another close-range drive off the side netting. 5

Ben Summers: Was keen to get involved from the moment he came on and did well. He looked lively and drew a few fouls against him. His decision-making was good and he produced some clever pieces of play and decent touches. He deserved a goal but slammed an effort straight against the goalkeeper. 6

Rocco Vata: The son of former Celtic star Rudi Vata has been making waves in the B team and given a platform on the Austrian tour to perform. Teed up Shaw with a precise pass for an effort that crashed back off the post and latched onto Shaw's pass and emphatically hammered home with aplomb into the top corner. 6

Matthew Anderson: Replaced Bernabei at the interval at left-back and he deputised well enough for the Argentine despite the intensity and pace of the game dropping. He looked extremely confident on the ball. 6

Josh Dede: The highly-rated 16-year-old youngster who has played just eight games for the B team was given some game time to show what he could do as he replaced Jullien in the 58th minute. What an experience for the teenager and he did well enough. 6

Liam Shaw: The first signing to arrive under the Ange Postecoglou era this time last season and the midfielder who spent time on loan at Motherwell last season and was given some first-team minutes in a more advanced role just before the hour mark and smacked a shot off the post and released Vata for his goal. 6

Owen Moffat: He was part of Celtic's League Cup-winning squad and made his name during the last pre-season and plundered 14 goals for the B team last season. He was given the final 22 minutes and another who was in the mood. 6
