Joe Hart: The Celtic number one dealt with just one cross into his box and an effort from Oli Shaw during the entire first half. He was a total spectator after the break. 8
Josip Juranovic: Chelsea, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid... the Croatian right-back appears to have no shortage of potential suitors according to recent reports. He showed why by galloping forward at will and linked well down the flank with Jota. He was crudely held back by McKenzie when in full flow and earned the offender a booking while in general he appeared desperate to be involved and it showed when he popped up in the Killie box and saw an effort cleared off the line. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: USA international shanked his first pass forward into touch and was then involved in a breakdown in communication with Jenz. Kyle Lafferty certainly fancied his chances physically against him and no quarter was asked for or given in a fascinating contest. He got to grips with the Northern Irishman soon enough and, by the break, the striker was cutting a frustrated figure and resorting to persistent fouling. His partnership with Jenz is flourishing and looks strong. 8
Moritz Jenz: After capping a competitive dream debut with a goal in Dingwall the defender copped an early sore one from ex-Rangers and Hearts striker Lafferty at Rugby Park. He fed Taylor for the move that led to the goal and was involved in a defensive mix-up with Carter-Vickers midway through the half which presented a spurned chance to Lafferty. The German produced a fine piece of control and a stunning improvised overhead kick for the third goal to make it two in two matches. Replaced by Starfelt on 55 minutes as he took a knock. 7
Greg Taylor: The left-back returned to his old Rugby Park stomping ground a player at the top of his game. Taylor produced a sensational defence-splitting pass inside six minutes to release Maeda who had the simplest of tasks teeing up Kyogo for the opener. He skinned Lafferty a cracker much to the amusement of the Celtic support and continued what has been a superb start to his Premiership campaign. 9
Callum McGregor: Celtic's skipper reached a personal milestone with his 250th Scottish Premiership game. He saw a goal-bound effort charged down just before the half-hour mark and patrolled the midfield area with quiet and efficient menace. He was a steady influence all afternoon, was always available and created space with ease. 8
Matt O'Riley: O'Riley really is a silky footballer. He was always looking to find the killer pass even if he didn't execute it at all times and, while he flitted in and out of proceedings by his exceptionally high standards, he still looked capable of creating something whenever he got the ball. Steered a second-half drive into the goalkeeper's hands. 7
David Turnbull: Scotland international Turnbull made his second consecutive start in the absence of Reo Hatate. He always looked calm and composed on the ball and more often than not found his man with a pass. He didn't have his shooting boots on in the first half, especially when he fired in two wayward efforts and saw two deflected wide. Kyle Lafferty also unsportingly crashed the ball off his head when he lay on the ground and should have seen yellow. 7
Jota: The Portuguese winger has enjoyed a scintillating start to the season with the clinching strike against Aberdeen and all three assists against Ross County so far. He produced another goal of the season contender with a 30-yard effort that flew like an arrow into the top corner at Rugby Park. He then proceeded to miss a one-on-one when the better option might have been to play the ball across to Maeda but what a player Celtic have at their disposal. 9
Kyogo Furuhashi: Celtic's main man got up and running for the campaign last weekend with a typical striker's finish in the Highlands. He was involved in an early penalty claim when he went down under Alebiosu's challenge in the box. The attacker gobbled up compatriot Maeda's low centre to bundle home from close range in seven minutes to put Celtic 1-0 up. The Japanese hit a perfect pass to Jota who should have made it three before the interval and clipped the top of the bar with a second-half header. 8
Daizen Maeda: Latched on to Taylor's exquisite through ball and intelligently lifted his head and squared for Kyogo to tap in the first goal. His pace can really hurt opponents at times but his close control let him down on a couple of occasions which would have seen him released clean through on goal. 7
Substitutes
Carl Starfelt (Jenz 55): Injured in pre-season and came in for his first outing of the new season and 50th appearance in a Celtic jersey. The Swede came on for Jenz in 55 minutes and could have given away a penalty by being too touch-tight on Lafferty and notched his first goal for Celtic but only just. 6
Aaron Mooy (Turnbull 66): Replaced Turnbull and was given more valuable game-time and kept everything very tidy and simple as you would expect. 5
Giorgos Giakoumakis (Kyogo 66): The Greek was desperate to get in and around the danger area as well as open his account for the season and duly did with a trademark one-touch overhead-kick finish. 6
Liel Abada (Maeda 66): The Israeli winger gave Celtic some fresh impetus when he arrived on the pitch and plucked one out of the air with a sublime piece of close control. 5
James Forrest (Jota 80): Given a 10-minute run-out in place of Jota.
Substitutes not used: Benjamin Siegrist, Anthony Ralston, Fernando Bernabei, James McCarthy
