Joe Hart: The Celtic number one rushed out of his goal and forced Josh Ginnelly into a hurried finish in the opening period. In truth, Hart had strayed a bit too far off his line in that incident and could have been dinked had the Hearts forward had the presence of mind and executed the chance better - thankfully he didn't. Hart was rarely threatened over the 90 minutes otherwise. 7
Josip Juranovic: Juranovic copped an early sore one when he ventured on a marauding trademark run forward. He linked the play well with O'Riley and Maeda while his pace caused consternation in the Hearts ranks. He was cynically clipped by Gary Mackay-Steven who rightfully got a yellow card and was someone whose passing was on point - in short, he looked sharp as a tack. 7
Cameron Carter-Vickers: Cool, calm and unflappable as ever. The USA international defender fired in a fine pass To David Turnbill which broke the lines and led to the attack which gave the hosts the lead and he coped with the presence of Liam Boyce and Ginnelly rather easily, looking totally at home with Jenz at the back of the pack. He displayed a decent range of long and short passing too. 8
Moritz Jenz: German defender Jenz got the nod over Swedish counterpart Carl Starfelt after both of their goalscoring exploits last weekend. He was sampling his first competitive start at home and snuffed out an early chance for Boyce by staying big. He was defensively sound all afternoon and won his fair share of headers and showed some superb strength. He was denied a third consecutive goal by the linesman's early flag and blazed a golden second-half opportunity over the top. 8
Greg Taylor: Ange Postecoglou believes the Scotland defender can take his game to even greater heights and he has enjoyed a superb start to the campaign. The full-back rarely wastes a pass and is producing his best form on a consistent basis these days. He smashed in a rising effort that was well held by Ross Stewart in the Hearts goal and was denied a good glimpse at goal by a fantastic last-gasp challenge by Peter Haring. 7
Callum McGregor: The skipper really is the beating heart of the team and was a real driving force again today. He always seemed to be available to receive a pass and he relished putting the high press on the opposition. 8
Matt O'Riley: Denmark Under-21 international O'Riley produced the cutest of nutmegs on Alex Cochrane inside two minutes and demonstrated again that he really is a sublimely gifted footballer by displaying fantastic close control. He smashed a wonderful hook shot inches wide of the target with just two touches and picked out Maeda with a wonderful cross too. He saw a second-half piledriver saved by Stewart. However, his game intelligence and all round spatial awareness should really be the stuff of case studies. 8
David Turnbull: Turnbull retained his place in the starting XI with many predicting he'd make way for the returning Reo Hatate. The Scotland midfielder played a wonderful pass inside full-back Cochrane to Maeda who flashed the ball in for Kyogo to score the vital breakthrough goal. He made way for Hatate on 55 minutes. 6
Jota: Portuguese winger Jota definitely looked in the mood from the off. He hammered in a couple of delicious balls across the face of the goal which just evaded the strikers and cracked in a first-half effort which brushed the side-netting. His end product could have been better but that's just nit-picking. 7
Daizen Maeda: Maeda started on the right wing this time and didn't give the Hearts defence a moment's peace. For the second week in a row, he produced the vital assist for his compatriot Kyogo to score. The Jambos found it hard to handle his pace down the right flank and he missed a cinch with a header following O'Riley's sumptuous cross from the left. Came off for Abada on 55 minutes. 7
Kyogo Furuhashi: The talismanic striker reckons he can hit 30 goals this season and made it three in three matches when he ghosted in to open the scoring on 13 minutes. The Japan international has started the season with a bang and now has 23 Celtic career goals to date. His movement was a joy to watch and his off-the-ball running and energy levels were excellent. His lighting speed saw him wrongly flagged offside on more than one occasion. 8
Substitutes
Reo Hatate: Given a 35-minute run-out in place of Turnbull and hammered a drive inches wide within seconds of coming onto the field. He looked very lively and certainly made a difference and he also performed his defensive duties with aplomb. 6
Liel Abada: Replaced workhorse Maeda as Celtic sought to bring freshness and regain more control of the match. His crossing left a lot to be desired and he failed to spot the overlapping Juranovic and spoiled a promising move. 4
Giorgos Giakoumakis: Came on for Kyogo on 71 minutes and teed up Jenz brilliantly for a chance which the German snatched at and rose highest to head a Taylor cross over the top. He sclaffed an effort that Stewart superbly turned round the post but he needed one touch and he scored the second as he took his tally to 19 Celtic goals. 5
Aaron Mooy: The Australian was handed more first-team game-time as he came on for O'Riley on 71 minutes. He displayed a decent touch at times. 4
Substitutes not used: Benjamin Siegrist, Carl Starfelt, Alexandro Bernabei, James Forrest, Anthony Ralston.
