Joe Hart: The Celtic shot-stopper was a total spectator in the opening period. However, the former England number one was well beaten by a fine accurate strike by Thody Elie Youan after 56 minutes. He gave the ball away once again inside the box just shortly after Marton Boyle had fired inches wide. 7
Anthony Ralston: Like Bernabei, the Scotland full-back linked the play up well with Forrest and Mooy all afternoon. He is always full of running and has high energy levels. The delivery from the right flank was usually on the money and another who showed up very well. He was involved in the move that led to Celtic making it 5-1 with an outstanding pass to Liel Abada. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: Who does the American think he is, Ronald Koeman? The centre-back treated the supporters to some wonderful diagonal passes to Sead Haksabanovic in the opening exchanges. The stand-in skipper may not be the most vocal but he really does prefer to do his talking on the pitch. 8
Moritz Jenz: Are you watching Carl Starfelt? The Swede faces a real job on his hands trying to dislodge the German defender who has slotted in effortlessly alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers at centre-back. The duo looks very comfortable playing together. The pair have developed a real understanding of each other's play and it is no surprise that their defensive stats are solid but he could possibly have been better positioned at Hibs' goal. 7
Alexandro Bernabei: The Argentine would have been absolutely delighted to get the nod to start his second Premiership game in a row after an impressive showing in Perth last weekend. He had his work cut out trying to shackle Hibs wide man Martin Boyle. It was the same combination that produced the winning goal against St Johnstone and he laid the ball on a plate with a sumptuous assist for the killer second goal from Giorgos Giakoumakis. It was a goal and assist of the highest quality from a player who is finally finding his feet at the club. 8
Aaron Mooy: Ange Postecoglou made a massive call to deploy his fellow countryman in the midfield. He spun on a sixpence and cracked in a deflected drive that brought about the game's first corner. The Australian internationalist kept play flowing at all times and was tidy, efficient and effective in everything that he did. He sent substitute Liel Abada clean through in goal with an exquisite pass. He was denied his first goal for Celtic when his effort cannoned back off Kyogo and what a shift he put in for the cause. 8
Matt O'Riley: One player who could hold his head high from the RB Leipzig match was the Danish under-21 internationalist. He deputised very well in the McGregor role since being asked to perform in that area by his manager. He really is an expert technician and at times the anchor strolled through the game and picked out offensive passes effortlessly and at will. He picked up the first caution at 52 minutes. 8
Reo Hatate: He was uncharacteristically erratic against the Germans in midweek but at least he was spared being rotated by the boss unlike fellow compatriots Kyogo and Daizen Maeda. The Japanese star attempted to break the lines constantly and he made many runs in behind enemy lines. His passing was more up to scratch on this occasion. 7
James Forrest: Evergreen Celtic winger Forrest made his first start since the title decider at Tannadice back in May. He has looked eager and keen to impress during his last two outings and he is still a player who can provide big moments for his team when fully fit. He proved that by scoring the opening goal following a superb assist from Haksabanovic and then adding a second after a howler by David Marshall to make it 99 and he became a century boy in the 58th minute to make it 100 goals in 451 appearances. 9
Giorgos Giakoumakis: Former Celtic hitman Chris Sutton labelled him 'too nice' in the midweek incident against RB Leipzig - which probably did not go down too well with the Greek striker. He ought to have given the hosts the lead inside 60 seconds but got no purchase behind his header from Haksabanovic's cross from the left. He wasn't to be denied though and he got his just reward with another one-touch finish which was despatched high into the net following Alexandro Bernabei's textbook defence-splitting pass. He caused the visiting defence problems all afternoon and swept home a fine second to make it five. 8
Sead Haksabanovic: He was handed a role in his favoured berth on the left wing and the Celtic supporters were intrigued to see what he brought to the party. He floated in a great cross inside the opening minute which saw Giorgos Giakoumakis almost open the scoring and took an exquisite touch moments later following a superb crossfield pass from Cameron Carter-Vickers. The Montenegrin saw a lot of the ball and his second cross was pure quality and landed on the foot of James Forrest who did the rest. He enjoyed himself immensely in the first half and was a livewire and was involved in the lead-up to the second goal. He failed to reappear after the break and was replaced by Maeda. 7
Substitutes
Daizen Maeda (Haksabanovic 46): The Japanese winger attacker has been out of sorts of late and was surprisingly brought on for the impressive Haksabanovic at the interval. He failed to pick out a teammate when O'Riley carved open the Hibs defence. He received a loud cheer when he slid home No.6 with 90 seconds left on the clock and that will do wonders for his confidence levels. 6
Oliver Abildgaard (O'Riley 65): The Dane replaced the excellent O'Riley on 65 minutes to gain more valuable game time. 4
Liel Abada (Forrest 65): Missed two great chances when he was released by Mooy and he dragged an effort wide and then slammed a one-on-one off David Marshall although he did help set up Giakoumakis to make it 5-1. 4
Kyogo Furuhashi (Hatate 70): Replaced his compatriot for the closing 20 minutes and he slammed a great shot off the post. 4
James McCarthy (Giakoumakis 75): Flung on for the last 15 minutes for two-goal hero Giakoumakis.
Substitutes not used: Benjamin Siegrist, James McCarthy, Yosuke Ideguchi
