Once again VAR tried to be the star.

It's pointless trying to do that inside Paradise though. There is no star shining brighter in Glasgow's east end right now than Ange Postecoglou and the current Celtic team.

The 4-2 Scottish Premiership win over Dundee United is a case in point.

Sure, the Hoops could have been fuelled by the sense of injustice at the incredulous award of a VAR-assisted penalty kick given against bewildered Argentine full-back Alexandro Bernabei for a handball that was neither intentional nor deliberate.

Sure, the Hoops could have been fuelled by the sense of injustice when Dylan Levitt grabbed a late leveller to make it 2-2 with two minutes to go.

Sure, they could have retreated into their shell and decided that it was not going to be their day. Couldn't they? Nope.

That's not what this Celtic team consist of. As famous American novelist and new journalist writer Tom Wolfe would have opined: "This outfit is made of the right stuff."

It may have been deep into injury time but the Hoops just happened to do what they do best: they just went up the park and scored twice courtesy of Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada and put the game and a point beyond Liam Fox's Taysiders' reach.

Montenegrin Sead Haksabanovic netted his first goals for the club but it was the two substitutes - Kyogo and Abada - who leapt off the bench and stepped up to the plate to show their guts and grab the glory.

Ironically, both men scored trebles in the 9-0 destruction of Dundee United at Tannadice back in August.

All three scorers will rightly make the headlines though. They were the stars of the show you might say. Champions never stop.

There are billions of stars in the galaxy. However, Postecoglou has assembled his own special constellation at Parkhead and his managerial stardust is rubbing off on his personnel. Each and every one of them.

And it is not by accident, it is entirely by design.

When asked afterwards if he had just witnessed the epitome of a 'we never stop' match, the Aussie replied: "I think people will probably realise now this is not by chance. It is not luck. This is something we have drilled into the guys from day one. They just refuse to yield and give up. There is no lost cause and credit to them."

They just refuse to yield and give up. There is no lost cause...

Thirteen words. Unlucky for some but not for Postecoglou's men. Winning is not an alien concept to this team. In fact, the domestic opposition this season should be afraid, very afraid, because at this juncture nobody in Celtic's space can hear you scream.

Jota may be the eye-catching superstar, Kyogo Furuhashi may be the talismanic star, and Giorgos Giakoumakis may be the one-touch scoring star but they all have one thing in common at Celtic and that is that no star is bigger than the rest.

Postecoglou is very much an open book added afterwards: "Again, there are no secrets there. It's very much about the kind of squad we are. We're not just the starting 11 and the guys who came on today played their part, other times it's others who come on. But credit to the lads, they came on and gave us some energy and two quality goals."

Celtic Way:

Postecoglou's galaxy, it seems, is infinite and so are the footballing possibilities within it. In the Scottish football universe, Celtic under the Aussie have caught a rare moment in time and space.

If the planets align, Postecoglou will get his wish and the Hoops will one day be able to compete at the elite level of Champions League football. His star is still very much on the rise.

If further evidence were needed then you only need to read every soundbite and morsel that came out of the horse's mouth at the club's recent AGM.

The Celtic players are on board. The Celtic supporters are on board. Even the Celtic board are... on board.

Only a fool would try to predict the future but you don't need Nostradamus to tell you Postecoglou's men will be hard to stop this season.

On the basis of the current body evidence alone - as witnessed against Dundee United on Saturday at Parkhead - there is something beautiful about watching this Celtic team under Postecoglou.

Domestically, this Celtic team are celestial.
