Joe Hart: The Celtic number one shelled a couple of back passes long and opted for the safety first option and had very little to do in the opening period but that had more to do with his four-man defence in front of him. He was beaten by Ryan Kent's daisy cutter that came back off the post five minutes after the break. He was beaten at the near post by Alfredo Morelos' close-range toe-poke. 6
Alistair Johnston: He got stuck right in and enjoyed his first taste of a major Hampden final. He defended resolutely when called upon and got forward to help the attack whenever he could. He also showed superb battling and fighting qualities throughout the contest. 8
Cameron Carter-Vickers: "With how we train we prepare for all sorts of situations. If they do sit back, we have solutions to break that down and if they do come and press us, then we have solutions to get out of that." The American put in a crucial goal-saving block after half an hour to prevent the Light Blues from going ahead. 8
Carl Starfelt: What an absolutely barnstorming first half the Swedish defender had. He would have initially been targeted as a potential weak link but won every aerial dual and snuffed out every piece of danger and threat that Rangers could muster. He was a colossus all afternoon and never put a foot wrong. 9
Greg Taylor: Another performance full of energy and drive and he always seemed to be available as an outlet down the flank. It was the left full-back who set up Kyogo for his tap-in with a low fizzed ball across the face of goal that took out the whole Rangers defence and left Kyogo with the easiest of tasks to make it 1-0. 8
Callum McGregor: "It is a game of consequence and I have always said this as a football player you want to be involved in big games of consequence when things are on the line. That's what excites you as a player." The skipper was part of a three-man midfield that just about got the better of their counterparts on the day and deservedly held aloft the trophy for the second year in succession. 7
Aaron Mooy: Ange Postecoglou's compatriot won his fitness battle and was given the nod to start over Matt O'Riley in midfield. He cut a composed and calm figure in the engine room and kept John Lundstrum quiet. The Aussie picked out Jota with a wonderful pass in 18 minutes and it was his ball out wide that released Greg Taylor down the left which saw his cross buried by Kyogo. 7
Reo Hatate: Alongside Mooy and McGregor he was excellent in the midfield and he all three took turns to run the show at various stages He set up his compatriot Kyogo for the crucial second goal. He finally made way for Iwata on 76 minutes. 7
Jota: The Portuguese wide man forced an excellent diving save from Allan McGregor midway through the first half and nutmegged Ryan Kent a beauty after 27 minutes. He was floating in and out of proceedings to decent effect and getting joy down the wing. He made way for Abada in 65 minutes. 7
Kyogo Furuhashi: He was involved in the game's first real flashpoint when he ran through on McGregor and went down in the box but nothing was given. The striker flashed two efforts wide before the interval and then headed another just over the top. The Japanese attacker wasn't to be denied when he was on hand to tuck Greg Taylor's accurate low-centre home for the opening goal and his movement was excellent all afternoon. It was Kyogo at the double when he bundled home to make it 2-0 in 55 minutes. 8
Daizen Maeda: He certainly had the beating of James Tavernier but his delivery failed him, especially in the opening period as well as his close control. He completely fresh-aired his attempt at goal but Kyogo was on hand to profit. He did a power of running in a defensive sense and remained in the park for that quality alone. 7
