Celtic winger Mikey Johnston has started his international career with a bang after coming off the bench for Ireland in a friendly against Latvia.
The 23-year-old, who is currently on loan at Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes until the end of the season, played 31 minutes for Stephen Kenny's side.
He made the switch from Scotland earlier this month and was involved in the winning goal after only being on the pitch for a few minutes.
With the fixture tied at 2-2, he picked up the ball on the edge of the box and ran at the opposition defence before firing a shot off the post.

The ball rebounded into the path of Irish forward Chiedozie Ogbene, who dispatched what turned out to be the winning goal on the night.
Johnston was not finished there, though, as he went on a run near the end of the match that almost capped off a dream debut.
The forward beat three players before his shot was blocked just in front of goal.
However, does he have a future Parkhead? He signed a contract extension until 2025 before going on loan to Portugal but has several first-team regulars in front of him, including Daizen Maeda, Jota and Sead Haksabanovic.
Meanwhile, Celtic hero Mikael Lustig has given his opinion on comparisons between Brendan Rodgers' Invincible side and the current Hoops team.
Ange Postecoglou's men could beat the 2016-17 team's 106 points tally if they win eight out of their last nine league games and draw the other.
However, they would still need to clinch a treble this season to match the Invincible's trophy haul.
And Lustig feels it is a hard question to answer.
"It’s hard to say," he said. "They are doing so well. You can absolutely compare them with the Brendan Rodgers team with the way they play.
“When Ange came in, no one knew anything about him. He brought a lot of players in you hadn’t heard of and you were a little unsure about what would happen with Celtic. But since the first day they have been playing so well.
“The strength with our team is the same with this one – it doesn’t matter what players are in the starting XI. They are going to perform really well.
“You are always comfortable when you watch them. You are never nervous they are going to slip up because you know they will push on."
