TCW's Tony Haggerty explains why Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou won't leave for Tottenham and discusses the upcoming Trophy Day at Parkhead.

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is being coveted by English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The Australian will be presented with back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles on Saturday May 27 at Parkhead as his side takes on Aberdeen.

He remains high on the Premier League team's radar, according to a report in the Independent, with Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter also in the frame.

And Chris Sutton has admitted that Postecoglou could well be tempted south of the border in order to test himself against some of the best managerial operators in the business despite the fact that he stands just 90 minutes away from leading his club to an unprecedented world record eighth domestic treble.

He told the Daily Record: "I’m not shocked Postecoglou is high up on Spurs’ list. I’m more surprised he wasn’t high up on it in the first place and it’s taken a few to drop out of the running for him to move up. I would love Postecoglou to stay at Celtic.

"It’s a huge job and there is unfinished business for him at Celtic Park, like the Champions League. I am also a realist and I know Spurs would be a huge draw. We don’t know what Postecoglou is thinking but it’s not a leap to believe he would want to test himself in the English Premier League one day."

Celtic won the race for the flag last month and have lost two and drawn one of their last three league encounters.

They will be looking to round off another dominant season in style. The Celtic fans will also attempt to produce a word record full stadium Tifo display before kick-off in the process.

Last season they destroyed Motherwell 6-0 on the final day of the campaign and Postecoglou will be looking for a similar result and performance to take into the Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The Motherwell game was also best remembered for Postecoglou's memorable rousing victory speech, where he proclaimed that Celtic would come back bigger, stronger and better than ever.

He and his players have proved true to his word.
