Various reports are circulating that Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou may be on his way out of Celtic.

The manager, who has been at the club since June 2021, has been reportedly identified by English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur following the conclusion of their season on Sunday.

The Sun has reported that Celtic have resigned themselves to the idea of losing the Australia manager to the London club, and have actively begun identifying candidates to replace the 57-year-old.

Spurs have been without a manager for over two months since the dismissal of Antonio Conte in March. They were managed in the interim by his assistant Cristian Stellini, but he too was sacked, leaving former player Ryan Mason to take the team until the end of the season.

The report claims that Spurs will respect Celtic by not interfering with their preparations as they are gearing up for this Saturday's Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden Park.

They also report that current West Ham United manager David Moyes would be a frontrunner for Postecoglou's job if he was to leave Celtic. The former Everton, Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland boss was a former player at Celtic, playing for the club between 1980 and 1983, and has been previously linked with the job in the past on numerous occasions.

Postecoglou has been an undoubted success since his arrival, winning two Scottish Premiership titles and two League Cups during his time at the club so far.

He said: "Well, I'm aware of it because everyone keeps asking me about it. It's happened in the past.

"I think I've been pretty clear that it's just not the way I think and work. My priority right now is just looking at trying to make sure we have a special day tomorrow.

"We've got a big cup final coming up in a week's time. I'm not going to sort of sit there and sort of try and get distracted by things that are kind of fascinating for other people rather than myself.

"So yeah, that's where my focus is and that's what it will continue to be. We've got a couple of big games and we've had a fantastic season and we've got an opportunity to make it a really special one."
