Joe Hart: The Englishman had little to do in the match. His distribution was good when it had be. However, he did pick the ball out of the net near the end of the match after Dan McKay fired home an excellent header. There was nothing Hart could do about the goal and it was probably the one disappointment from the match as a whole. 7
Alistair Johnston: He was solid during the cup final. The Canadian is always available for a pass and has adjusted to the inverted role successfully. He was not called into action much at the back and got forward to join the attack on plenty of occasions. It was an all around assured game by the 24-year-old. 7
Tomoki Iwata: It was another start at centre-back for Iwata and had little to do from a defensive point of view. However, the 26-year-old played an important role in keeping Inverness pressed back. He played relatively high for a defender and was regularly in the opposition's half of the pitch. Iwata is undoubtedly a tidy footballer but was caught under ball for Inverness' goal, which showed he may be better higher up the field. 6
Carl Starfelt: As has been the case a lot recently, the Swede was solid when he had to be. Like his counterpart beside him, there was not a lot of defending to do. His passing was competent and he distributed the ball quickly enough. The one time he was called into action just before the hour mark saw him make a crucial interception. 7
Greg Taylor: The left-back played the inverted role well, like Johnston, and offered plenty going forward in the fixture. It has been a great season for him and he showed what he is good at in this match. He defended well and was involved at the top end of the pitch as well. 7

Callum McGregor: He was phenomenal. It was a real captain's performance from McGregor and he dominated the midfield. His passing was crisp and he played the number six role to perfection. The Scotland international provided an assist for the second goal as he played the pass to Abada who dispatched with ease. McGregor has never lost a cup final and it is easy to see why after this performance. 9
Matt O'Riley: It was the Dane who produced the first shot on target in the match but it was held well by the Inverness goalkeeper. The game needed a spark to get things going and he provided that by assisting Kyogo nicely. Throughout the match, he was very assured and barely put a foot wrong. O'Riley could have scored himself at one point after testing the keeper in the second half. It was another great performance from Celtic's Young Player of the Year. 8
Reo Hatate: He had a relatively quiet game. He was tidy when he needed to be but seemed to not quite thrive as much as his midfield counterparts. Hatate was ultimately subbed for David Turnbull in the second half. 6
Jota: The Portuguese winger was sensational during the game. As well as the goal that clinched the trophy late on, he provided a threat for the whole game and equipped himself well on the big occasion once again. 8
Kyogo: Furuhashi: He was quiet for the majority of the first 45 minutes before opening the scoring with an excellent. Kyogo timed his run to perfection and fired home from O'Riley's cross into the roof of the net. Throughout the afternoon, his movement was incredible and his turn of pace was on full show for his goal. He could have scored a second goal almost straight after it when he was played in behind but put his attempt wide. 7

Daizen Maeda: It was a short afternoon for the Japan international, who was substituted at half-time due to injury. Liel Abada took his place. During his time on the pitch, he struggled to make an impact which may be due to the knock he sustained. Usually, he is always running at the opposition full-back but he was unable to do so on this occasion. After departing the field the champions had much more joy on the wings and were more of a threat from the wide positions. 6
Substitutes:
Liel Abada (for Maeda, 46): The Israeli scored the goal that clinched th Scottish Cup after finishing off McGregor's cross. It was a classic finish from the winger as he ran across the defender and fired home his 13th goal of the campaign. He pressed well after joining proceedings and offered more of an attacking outlet than Maeda at the national stadium. It was a return to form for the forward after being in and out of the team this season. 7
Oh Hyeon-gyu: (for Kyogo, 58): The striker led the line well when coming on and was involved in the build-up to the second goal as he fired the ball through to McGregor. His passing was crisp and he did not put a foot wrong while on the pitch. 6
David Turnbull: (for Hatate, 82): Turnbull did not have much opportunity to make an impact during his time on the field. He did not make any mistakes but was involved very little.
Sead Haksabanovic: (for O'Riley, 82): Missed a chance late on to make the scoreline even vaster.
James Forrest: (for Jota, 92): A cameo and nothing more for one of Celtic's most decorated players.
