We have a new bookies favourite in the race to become Celtic's new manager.
Step forward Enzo Maresca.
The Italian is currently Manchester City's number two and assistant to Pep Guardiola.
Maresca replaced Brendan Rodgers at the top of the betting despite many fans of the champions backing down from their hard line stance on ever wanting the Northern Irishman back at the club.
Maresca has been reputedly given the green light by Manchester City to join Celtic as manager, if he is given the opportunity.
The former Parma boss was sounded out for the Parkhead job before Ange Postecoglou was appointed in 2021 and the Celtic hierarchy club could be set to rekindle their interest in the Italian.
However any talks between Maresca and Celtic are on hold until after Saturday's Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan which takes place in Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
Ironically it is the same venue where Liverpool memorably beat AC Milan on penalties having trailed 3-0 at half-time back in 2005.

Meanwhile former Celtic defender Mark Wilson believes that Rodgers could win back the supporters by simply winning football matches if he was given the nod to return to Glasgow's east end.
Wilson said: “If the manager says the right thing, the fans believe it 100 per cent. They struggle to let it go. If Brendan Rodgers were to come in and get results right away, the brand of football was good again, and a couple of good signings came in the door, all would be forgiven. It's all about the product on the pitch and Rodgers, in his time here, was extraordinary, he was a great spokesman for the club but backed it up with performance."
Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen, ex-Brighton and Chelsea head coach Graham Potter, AZ Alkmaar manager Pascal Jansen and are other names reputedly in the frame for the vacant post after Postecoglou quit the club earlier this week to join English Premiership outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
The Aussie guided Celtic to five trophies out of six in his two-year tenure as well as world record eighth domestic treble in his second season.
