Celtic is waiting to officially announce the arrival of two new recruits from Asia - Kwon Hyeuk-kyu and Yang Hyun-Jun.
The club are expected to complete the transfer signing of Kwon Hyeon-kyu for £1 million.
The Busan I-Park midfielder is busy preparing to make his exit from South Korea.
The played 54 minutes in the match against Seongnam at the weekend but ended up on the losing side as his team went down 3-2.
Kwon revealed that his hero growing up was none other than former Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung.

He said: "This is a dream come true for me. I used to watch Ki Sung-Yueng as a kid when he was at Celtic. He was an amazing player. As a child, I looked up to him and admired him. So it's a great feeling to go there too.
"I know it won't be easy in Europe and I have heard it isn't simple living abroad either. I am determined I will be a better player.
Going to Europe is a new challenge. It won't be easy at first. I may not be able to adapt initially, but I will not be mentally shaken.
"I will continue to challenge myself and if there is a slump, I will handle it wisely.
"I think I have grown as a defensive midfielder and I think Celtic must have liked what they saw when they watched me because I have done not too badly in that position.
"At Celtic, I intend to be a success and I hope it will also help me get international recognition too."
Celtic is also expected to announce the signing of Yang-Hyun-jun imminently after Gangwon confirmed his exit to Glasgow.
A social media post read: "Yang Hyun-jun to Celtic's transfer has been confirmed."
The next fortnight could see a lot of transfer activity in terms of both ins and outs for the Scottish champions with boss Brendan Rodgers still not ruling out a loan move for Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney.
Rodgers said: "There have been lots of players linked with here with me coming back. All I know is Kieran is like myself – we loved our time here. When I spoke to him down the road in the Premier League, every time we met up all we talked about was Celtic.
"He’s a Celtic man but he’s at a fantastic club in Arsenal. You can just never say never in football. Who knows what might happen?
Meanwhile, Rodgers side enjoyed a 4-1 win over Portimonense in pre-season at the weekend with goals from Oh Hyeon-gyu, Ben Summers, Liel Abada and Reo Hatate.
Celtic's pre-season tour continues as they travel to Japan where they will take on Yokohama F. Marinos at the Nissan Stadium on Wednesday, July 19.
