It's transfer deadline day yet Celtic don't appear to be finished shopping in the market.

The club has added Honduran winger Luis Palma from Aris Thessaloniki and also snapped up Liverpool defender Nat Phillips on loan already this week

Brendan Rodgers men are also homing in on Benfica midfielder Paulo Bernardo who arrived in Glasgow yesterday and completed a medical ahead of a move to Celtic which is understood to include a loan option to buy just like Jota.

Will that be all for Celtic?

It would appear not.

Celtic is reputedly still actively seeking a new left-back and a striker to bolster their ranks even further.

Whilst there may still be some significant movement in terms of incomings there will also be outgoings too.

Celtic striker Albian Ajeti is nearing the exit door after he reportedly "arrived in Turkey" to complete a move to top-flight side Gaziantep.

The 26-year-old has had a tough spell in Glasgow after completing a £5million move from West Ham in the summer of 2020.

Ajeti has scored just nine times and provided four assists across 48 appearances for the Hoops.

He spent last season on loan at Austrian side Sturm Graz and is now in the final year of his contract at Celtic.

The Swiss forward is set to sign a two-year deal with the Turkish club for a fee of around £500,000.

Championship side Stoke City have made an 11th-hour bid to hijack Sead Haksabanovic's switch to PAOK.

Despite the 24-year old winger allegedly agreeing terms with the Greek outfit former Hamilton boss Alex Neil an admirer of the Montenegrin who signed a five-year deal when he joined Celtic from Rubin Kazan 12 months ago.

Haksabanoic has made 40 appearances in all competitions and helped Celtic secure the domestic treble last season, but he was largely used as a substitute and made just 13 starts looks likely to try his luck down south.

The wide man did not help his own cause when he took a step closer to the departure when he posted on Instagram last weekend: “If they don’t see your value maybe you’re not in the right place.”

Celtic have also knocked back a six-figure bid from Nottingham Forest for academy talent Rocco Vata insisting that he is not for sale as the transfer deadline approaches.

The club want Vata to stay at Parkhead as he enters the final year of his contract but the 18-year-old is believed to have grown frustrated with a lack of first-team opportunities.

Vata's situation is being closely monitored by by Belgian side Club Brugge and Italian outfit Torino credited with an interest.
