Celtic could be set to smash their Scottish record transfer as they weigh up a January transfer bid for Aberdeen star Bojan Miovski.
The North Macedonian striker has become a huge fans favourite at Pittodrie after scoring 18 goals last term and plundering 11 this season already including counters against Celtic and Rangers.
According to reports in The Sun Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is a huge admirer of Miovski and has had the attacker scouted in every game this season.
The champions are in the market for another striker as they are mindful that Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, and Oh Hyeon-gyu are all likely to be involved in the Asia Cup in January.
Rodgers is reputedly prepared to shell out a record Scottish transfer sum to land his man and that fee currently stands at £4.4million, a fee that was paid by Celtic for Scott Brown from Hibs.

Miovski moved to the Granite City for a bargain fee of £650,000 from MTK Budapest 18 months ago and has been a huge hit in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers are also reputedly interested but look certain to be priced out of a move by their Glasgow rivals and a whole host of English clubs are keeping tabs on Miovski's situation.
Back in May, Aberdeen's chief executive Alan Burrows said that the Reds were 'under no pressure to sell'.
That could all change in the coming weeks though if Rodgers and Celtic firm up their interest with a concrete offer.
Meanwhile Celtic entertain Hibs at Parkhead tonight as they seek to stay eight points clear of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Will Rodgers finally let Tomoki Iwata loose in the Celtic midfield and has Mikey Johnston done enough to justify getting a start against the capital club?
Rodgers will certainly want to see a reaction from his side after he lambasted them at half-time during Sunday's 3-1 league win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park when he admitted that the first half display had made him 'the angriest he has ever been' in his managerial career to date.
