Everything Celtic’s Cameron Carter-Vickers said to Sky Sports after their 3-3 draw with Rangers in the Glasgow Derby…
Cameron, it was some game. Assess that from a Celtic point of view.
It was a difficult game. I thought we started the game well, had parts of control in the first half we managed the ball well. When we did get the ball down and pass it we cut through them and created chances. In the second half, I feel they came out and their press was good. I think they went man for man, which we found difficult to play through. They grew into the game. It’s difficult when the crowds behind them when you’re in possession it’s hard to keep them out. We did our best, and Adam Idah’s goal was a big one for him. Disappointed not to win the game.
It’s as if you had that game won twice. Does that add to the frustration when they peg you back?
100 per cent. When you’re here and the crowd are up for it with attack after attack it’s hard to keep them out. We tried as best as we could, but were disappointed not to win it.
They got that penalty. What did you make of that? Did that change anything in terms of momentum second half?
Probably, I think them getting that goal early on probably gave them a reason to spur them on quickly. I haven’t seen the penalty back, but at the time I thought he was looking for the contact. I haven’t seen it back, so I can’t judge.

When you get in front so late in the game, what do you need to do in terms of defending it and seeing it out?
It’s all good defending balls into the box, but it’s more important to keep the ball when you get it, or at least try and hold it up instead of it being wave after wave. When it’s attack after attack it’s difficult to keep them out.
Still many big games to play with not long left to go. How are you feeling from now until the end of the season with what Celtic can achieve?
Yeah, feeling good. The situation in the table hasn’t changed. Even if we won that game today we would probably still have to have won our next seven or six games. Nothing has changed at all.
