Tony Haggerty and Ryan McGinlay joined Hamish Carton on Monday's edition of The Celtic Way's morning briefing for April 15, sponsored by MPH Group.
On today's show, the trio spoke about events that transpired over the weekend, as Celtic remained four points clear due to their 3-0 win over St Mirren, coupled with Rangers' 3-2 defeat at the hands of Don Cowie's Ross County. The positive showings from the likes of Alistair Johnston and Reo Hatate were discussed, as Celtic looked back to their best in the second half, following a poor opening 45 minutes in Glasgow.
With the results going the way they did, the panel discussed whether or not Celtic were now favourites with five games left of the season to go in the split. With the distraction of the Scottish Cup this weekend, it gives the team the chance to take stock thus far and prepare for what is sure to be a tight run-in.
Finally, the trio spoke about former Celtic right-back Jeremie Frimpong, who won the Bundesliga yesterday with Bayer Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso. A great moment for the infectious character, who Celtic will not forget in a hurry.
