Everything that Brendan Rodgers said to BBC Radio Scotland after Celtic's 3-0 Scottish Premiership win over Hearts...
That performance must have pleased you. What were your thoughts on that result?
It was very pleasing. We were playing against a good team and at this stage of the season, we want to perform well. I thought there was great energy in the stadium today and the supporters were brilliant. Right from the off they got behind the team and the players responded to that. It was very, very pleasing.
That energy you spoke about didn't tail off. How important was it to keep that going for 90 minutes?
That was key. The game now is always about maintaining that intensity. It is always going to be important for us. You saw what the guys who came into the game like Adam Idah and Daizen Maeda brought as they made an impact with their intensity and pressure. Overall they managed the game very well.
Another couple of goals from Kyogo Furuhashi. Is he back to his best?
Yes. The first one shows how alive he is in the box. I thought we were dangerous today from our set-pieces as the delivery was really good. It is a big credit to Gavin Strachan and Greg Wallace as they look at our set-pieces and I thought we looked dangerous. The first one comes from the second phase of the corner kick and staying alive within the box and he scores with a great header. The second goal is an incredible finish and what a pass by Matt O'Riley who was brilliant in the game. What a wonderful ball and that is Kyogo's strengths playing on the shoulder of the defender and the last line and you see what comes from it. I think when we got 2-0 ahead we kept going forward and tried to score more goals and we created opportunities. I know Reo Hatate was unhappy that he didn't score from an opportunity and we had other blocks and near misses and we fought all the way to the end.
This sets you up very nicely for next Saturday and the big derby. What does the manner of that win do for the confidence and the belief of the players in what is a really big game in terms of the title race?
It is a huge game. What pleased me today was that in a big game, we had big performances and a big contribution from those players. That really sets us up well for next week. The guys were very good in their concentration and when they had to defend they defended well. Joe (Hart) made a really good save for us also. We will recover and analyse things and we will have a good week's training and it is going to be on fire here next weekend.
