Tony Haggerty joined Ryan McGinlay on Wednesday's version of The Celtic Way's morning briefing for June 20, sponsored by MPH Group.

The spotlight turned to Celtic's contingent representing their country at Euro 2024 as Tony Ralston and Callum McGregor helped Scotland to a 1-1 draw with Switzerland in Cologne which kept Steve Clarke's side's hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase alive.

It was a mixed bag for the Celtic pair as Callum McGregor teed up Scott McTominay for the deflected goal that gave Scotland an early lead. However, it was Anthony Ralston's slack pass that led to the Swiss equaliser which arrived courtesy of a world-class strike from Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Scots know that if they beat Hungary in their final group match on Sunday they will go through as one of the highest placed third teams in their group.

The panel discussed Scotland's chances as well as the lack of transfer activity thus far from Celtic in the window. The imminent departures of goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist and striker Oh Hyeon-gyu were also discussed as Brendan Rodgers's side looks set to be trimmed down this month.
