Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley is closing in on a Scottish transfer record move to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion - and The Celtic Way understands the move will be confirmed in the next 48 hours.

Celtic previously booted out five approaches from Italian club Atalanta including a whopping £21.5m as they held out for the multi-million pound fee.
O'Riley's fee surpasses the record £25 million transfer deals for Kieran Tierney to Arsenal in 2019 and Jota to Al-Ittihad from Celtic last summer.
