Tony Haggerty and Ryan McGinlay joined Hamish Carto on Monday's edition of The Celtic Way's morning briefing for September 23.

The Scottish League Cup was the main topic of conversation for the panel today, as they discussed Brendan Rodgers' side's 5-2 win over John McGlynn's Championship team. A double each from Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn - as well as a first-half goal from Paulo Bernardo stopped any potential shocks from occurring, as the visitors took the lead twice in the opening 45 minutes.

The performances of the likes of Luis Palma and Stephen Welsh were also touched upon, as both failed to impress in their first starts of the season respectively. The semi-final draw was hot on the minds of the team, as Celtic were drawn against Aberdeen for the game at the national stadium.
